Monthly or annual: which Outshinery Studio subscription saves more?

An annual Outshinery Studio plan costs about 4% less per Shine Credit than the matching monthly plan; both cost 11% to 26% less than buying one at a time. Both include the same three things: unused Shine Credits roll over while the plan is active, extra Shine Credits can be added at your plan rate, and you can cancel anytime.

The difference is how the Shine Credits arrive and what each one costs.

Monthly. 2, 4, or 8 Shine Credits land every month. The cost is spread across the year, and moving up or down a tier is quick. About $119, $109, or $99 per Shine Credit.

Annual. 25, 50, or 100 Shine Credits arrive at once, and each plan includes free Shine Credits on top (1, 2, or 4). That is where the annual difference comes from: about $114, $105, or $95 per Shine Credit.

Against buying one at a time at $129, every plan is cheaper per Shine Credit, and the largest annual plan saves the most.

Pick monthly if your imagery needs are spread through the year. Pick annual if they come in waves, or if the lowest rate is what matters.
