When do Shine Credits expire?

Shine Credits are valid for one year. On an active subscription they roll over, so nothing expires while your plan is running.


The rule in full, for Outshinery Studio:


  • On a monthly or annual plan: unused Shine Credits roll over month to month and year to year for as long as the subscription is active.
  • If you cancel: the Shine Credits you hold stay valid for one year after the subscription ends.
  • Bought one at a time: valid for one year from the date of purchase.
  • The welcome Shine Credit: new accounts get 1 free Shine Credit, and it has to be used within 5 days of signing up. It expires on its own after that.


We email you before any Shine Credits are due to expire. Your dashboard shows the balance and any upcoming expiry dates: How can I see how many Shine Credits I have left?
